Most bottled versions taste of cordial. That is the problem we set out to solve.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSo there is no juice in ours. We took a lime apart, worked out what it is actually doing, and rebuilt it as Myatt's Sours, our own acid base. It gives the brightness of fresh lime every time and it pours clear, which is why the drink is the colour of water rather than the colour of a slush puppy.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eStraight from the freezer into a chilled coupe. Skip the salt. In the original you rinse the glass with it and pour the rinse away, which assumes you own a bottle of absinthe for the sake of a teaspoon.
